Stand Up - Episode 6
Finally, it's the real journey, with the warm colors, sweaty faces, spanning from below the Tropic of Cancer to the Equator. Gip and Miki embrace Mexico's vibrant madness, from Mexican black magic to the realization that Stand Up doesn't feature babes. So, they head to Mexico City to film a Miss Thailand election fashion show (yes, Mexican Miss Thailand…). They keep their promise to showcase stunning models on Stand Up, and Miki even interviews the winner, leading to a wild twist. The Thai Accountant Filini's daughter in Mexico witnesses it all.
Escaping Mexico City, Gip and Miki hit Guadalajara for a "Latin America" Rodeo stage, where brave Mexicans attempt to ride wild horses, with the constant risk of life-threatening injuries. It sparks the notion that death doesn't necessarily strike in life-threatening moments but can knock on your door in peaceful times.
In San Francisco, Miki closes this episode by reminiscing about her encounter with motorcycle tricksters. Unfortunately, death reaches Stand Up when risks seemed low.
