This episode is a total curveball for Stand Up. Gip's off the radar for the first half, leaving the show in Miki and Tommy B's hands, a close friend he met during his LA stint. Gip's absence? He's back in Italy filming for Le Iene, his previous TV gig. He'll reunite with Miki in Tijuana, Mexico, right after the San Diego border, just in time for Mexican Independence Day celebrations – from the streets to the Giacomo Matteotti heirs' ranch.

From there, Gip and Miki start embracing Mexican culture. Meanwhile, the first half features Miki and Tommy B crafting a mock-fiction where Tommy B, in a trivial accident, loses his life, and Miki ventures to Mexico to dispose of the body.
