In this episode, Gip and Miki dive deeper into their LA connections. They kick things off by introducing Chris from Redondo Beach, known as the 'mad scientist.' Chris shows them how tarantulas mate and gives them a hands-on lesson with scorpions and spiders. Things take a wild turn when a tiny but dangerous spider bites Miki, leading to her Good Samaritan Hospital stay.

While Miki recovers, Gip enjoys a Dodgers game at the iconic LA stadium. After a few days, Miki is back on her feet and ready to step into the ring, taking on 2004/2005 middleweight champ Larry Whack. Larry, along with his brother Kenneth, shares their mission of using their gym to help kids steer clear of trouble and get into boxing.

Gip can't resist dragging Miki to Huntington Beach for a stop on the World Surfing Championship. While the waves are small, they roam the event's backstage, mingling with skaters, ramps, cops, and bewildered onlookers. Finally, amidst the modest waves, they challenge Kelly Slater, Cory Lopez, Andy Irons, and Rob Machado, with Rob coming out on top of the leg.
